Broad Spectrum CBD products contain an array of beneficial cannabinoids and terpenes–but have no THC. A Hemp plant must undergo additional processing to isolate and remove as much trace amounts of THC as possible to create Broad Spectrum CBD, while still preserving its therapeutic properties. Our proprietary processes do not expose the extracted products to high temperature or adverse conditions as with other manufacturers’ fractional distillation processes. We preserve the plant’s terpene profile, keeping it as close to nature as possible while removing all THC.
CBD is extracted from the Hemp plant. There are different methods of extraction which yield different kinds of extracts. Another term for these extracts is “hemp oil”. Some CBD products use isolate which is just CBD lacking all of the other compounds of the plant. Isolate is not as beneficial as it is missing the compounds that help CBD work. Broad-spectrum CBD extracts contain 80-90% CBD. The remaining 10-20% of the concentrates include the plant’s naturally occurring terpenes and phytocannabinoids. It is believed that these compounds aid in bioavailability, so that the body can absorb and make the best use of CBD. The overall impact of hemp’s combined cannabinoid and terpene content is known as the entourage effect. In the case of broad-spectrum CBD, these cannabinoids and terpenes work together to produce a range of effects that is greater than the sum of its parts. Recent studies show that broad-spectrum extracts which include terpenes are up to four times stronger, per unit than CBD isolates which do not. All One CBD products are produced from organically grown phytocannabinoid-rich broad-spectrum hemp oil extract.
Technically, both hemp and marijuana are cannabis. Hemp is low-THC, high CBD cannabis, and marijuana is the opposite: high in THC and low in CBD. THC is the psychoactive compound in marijuana that causes a high. Hemp is not marijuana. Although hemp does contain cannabinoids, it has negligible amounts of THC. In order to be legally cultivated, the industrial hemp must contain less than 0.3% THC by dry volume. All One CBD products are made from Hemp, where we remove any remaining traces of THC and then re-test to confirm.
Hemp oil is CBD oil. It is extracted from the leaves, flowers, stems, and stalks of the plant and contains cannabinoids and other compounds. Hemp seed oil, on the other hand, is pressed from the seeds of the plant, and contains NO CBD. Hemp seed oil does not have the same properties and benefits as Hemp oil/CBD oil. All One CBD products are created from Hemp Oil and contain CBD.
